As the world explodes with violence and uncertainty, the lyrics of Bob Dylan's Blowing in the Wind, are just as timely today as they were in the 60's. I was eight years old when I first heard the song. I became a lifetime fan. Uranus and Pluto were conjunct during the 60's, they have been in a tight square aspect for the last two years. Dylan's ability to see things as they are, his sense of humor and irony, his passion for human rights, and his genius at expressing it all so clearly make him my lifetime favorite by far. I have gone through phases of admiration for singer song writers since my teens. Discovering Cat Stevens in my early teens, OH "Peace Train". Neil Young "Harvest". Some of my latest favs are posted on this blog. I grew up with Johnny Cash on the Jute Box and TV. Johnny's "Why I'm always dressed in Black" is a great protest song. I really didn't appreciate Johnny until I discovered Willie Nelson at age 19. He was my parents music up until then. "Tangled up in Blue" seemed the perfect title for this photograph. Hope it isn't too presumptuous of me to reuse such a great title. I'll get back to self development and a little more astrology in my future blogs. Have a great week! This was my favorite version of this song. There are many more to be explored. Comments are closed.
