I read this article and found myself guilty to some degree in all categories. I'm kinda tongue and cheek about my new age beliefs. Others take themselves quite seriously. How about a reality check for all of us. http://www.elephantjournal.com/2011/06/10-obstacles-to-sane-spirituality-or-10-portals-beyond-new-age-delusion-part-one-the-dance-of-psyche/ This article is worth the read. I was a big fan of Natalie Merchant and 10,000 Maniacs back in the late 80's. I first heard Iris Dement sing this song about fifteen years ago on a local radio station. It expressed my feelings at the time. Not much has changed in spite of all the changes I've been through. I like her version but I thought it would be fun to share this one.

The power of knowledge sets us free of irrational fears and beliefs. My personal Journey has taken me through a variety of belief systems. This has given me a unique perspective about human nature and our attachment to our beliefs. Conflict is often associated with religious beliefs and I hope one day to have all beliefs embraced as the individuals way of connecting to a greater intelligence. This way we can learn from all belief systems and ultimately be at peace with the beautiful mystery we are a part of. Since most of us are familiar with Christianity I thought I would share this article for a clearer understanding of what it means to be Pagan: http://www.paganspath.com/magik/pagan.htm Most people would be surprised to realize most major religions of the world are Pagan. With two planets in retrograde motion it's no wonder I began this road trip with no idea of where I was going. On day two I was listening to my internet radio and two songs came on back to back. This Land is your Land by My Morning Jacket and Johnny Flynn's Fol-de-Rol. To me it was a sign that this trip is blessed. I have spent more than four years getting healthy enough to travel on my own again. It is a joy! The scenery out west is dramatic with mile long stretches of snow meeting the blue streaked sky in the distance. It's the simple exhilaration I feel tooling down the road seeing something new. Retrograde motion allows us to slow down and review the past and present for opportunities and learning. My blogs are about my personal journey. We all have to learn to use our intuition and instincts skillfully in order to have joyous lives.
